Joshua Owl Powerlifting continues to take flight!

Lady Owl Powerlifters Abby Mitchell and Hannah Willis both competed at the THSWPA State Meet on March 19th in Corpus Christi and earned top spots in their respective weight class!

Mitchell also became the state record holder in the bench press at 280 lbs. She finished with a total of 1,080 pounds in bench, squat, and deadlift. She also earned the "Most Outstanding Bench Press" recognition.

Willis totaled 855 pounds, 15 pounds more than the second-place finisher in her class.

Competing in Class 5A, Joshua finished in 4th in the state of Texas! Congratulations to our state champions and their coaches, Roy Williams and Lloyd Bryant!
