Congratulations to Joshua High School Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) students Katherine Thompson and Melese Mungle for advancing in a recent competition!

Katherine placed 12th in Medical Spelling and will move on to the Area 5 round Jan. 28-29 in Killeen.
Melese will advance to the state competition in Health Care Issues on April 19-22 in Galveston!

"As a first-year HOSA advisor I have been really impressed with the hard work and determination of the HOSA members here at JHS," said Health Science & CNA Teacher Jessica Baker. "I am excited to see the hard work of Katherine and Melese pay off."
