The Spirit of Joshua Band is heading to the Area Round of competition, after an impressive performance at the Region UIL Band Competition Tuesday in Saginaw.

The band earned straight ones and a Superior Rating from all three judges, as they competed against several units from across Region 30. Schools from 5A and 6A classifications competed throughout the day. 

The rating allows the band to advance and compete in the Area competition on Saturday, October 23, at the Birdville ISD Fine Arts/Athletic Complex.
