During the regularly scheduled June meeting, the Joshua ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted to approve the hiring of Heath Kelly.
 
Kelly was named assistant principal at North Joshua Elementary.

Kelly began his educational career in 2005 with Burleson ISD. There, he taught in elementary classrooms until he became a math and reading interventionist in 2013. In 2019, Kelly moved to the intermediate campus at Arlington Classics Academy as an assistant principal. Kelly holds certifications in educational, health and safety areas. 

Kelly earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Tarleton State University as well as a Master of Education in Educational Administration, also from Tarleton State.
