This weekend, two Joshua High School students will cast their lines at the Texas High School Bass Association (THSBA) State Championship!

After competing in six THSBA tournaments this year, Stetson Southard and Carson Colbert earned enough points to gain entry into the West Regional Tournament. There, they finished 37 out of 169 teams and qualified for State. The pair were guided this season by Dale Southard.

The two-day State tournament will be May 20-21 at Lake Sam Rayburn, near Lufkin.
