Spirit of Joshua seniors Ashton Wood and Lillie Couey recently signed their Letters of Intent to Tarleton State University to march in The Sound and The Fury band! They will major in music education. 
 
Together the two students have been offered over $54,000 in Tarleton State band scholarships and other academic scholarships and awards. Lillie also received a Joshua ISD Employee Scholarship. 
 
Ashton plays bass trombone and is the SOJ trombone captain. Lillie plays the flute and serves as the drum major. Both are members of Spirit Winds and play saxophone in the NRG Jazz Band.
