Joshua FFA has had a busy couple of weeks, competing in contests across the state!
Senior Braylen Galbreath placed 10th in his class at Rodeo Austin this past weekend.
The steer show team wrapped up their year at the Houston Livestock Show over Spring Break. Congratulations to the Graham Brothers on placing sixth in Class 2 American Breeds Cross and making the sale! Kelli Blackwood, Alivia Conner, Hunter McKenzie, McKenzie Mounger and Kylan Noblitt also exhibited their steers.
The entomology and wool teams had a great competition at the Glen Rose contest, placing third and seventh, respectively.
The nursery landscape team competed in the Northwest and Decatur doubleheader and took home fourth and fifth place in the events! Caroline Moffit was fifth place individual at Northwest and sixth place individual at Decatur.
Outside of competition, seniors Gracie Moore, Morgan Hepler and Lexie Tucker received scholarships from the Johnson County Livestock and Agriculture Association.
