March 6, 2023
Over the weekend, five Joshua High School Career and Technical Education students blazed a trail for the district by competing in the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Regional competition in Waco!
The five seniors were the first Joshua ISD students have participated in this event.
Kaylee Cox won second place in the baking and pastry, securing her place in the state competition and a $2,000 scholarship!
Adria Lewis and Tibor Hollmann participated in the event management competition, while Victoria Arteaga and Isabella Kirchmann were in the hospitality and tourism contest.
The group visited Baylor University, the Dr. Pepper Museum and the Magnolia Silos.
Thank you, Mrs. Haberstroh and Mrs. Harris, for leading these students in this amazing learning opportunity!
