Joshua High School's Inaugural Cohort Earn Associate's Degree
History has been made in Joshua ISD!
The inaugural cohort of Joshua High School's Associate's Degree program graduated from Hill College on Thursday, May 12, 2022 with an Associate's Degree before they earn their diploma in a couple of weeks! The cohort includes 10 students that began the program in its first year back in 2018-19. Joshua High School's Associate's Degree program gives students the opportunity to earn an Associate's in Liberal Arts while in high school and is FULLY FUNDED by the District.

"The JISD associates degree program has brought an additional opportunity for our JISD students to find their fit in high school," said Brooklyn Shafer, JISD Director of Post Secondary Readiness. "This first cohort of graduates has shown perseverance over the past 4 years and we could not be more proud of them. We look forward to seeing their future successes and know they will make JISD proud."
Applications are closed for the 2022-23 school year and the cohort has already been selected.
