Balloon Away + was established in May 2023 through a work-based learning grant from Texas A&M’s Center on Disability and Development. This initiative, operated by the Joshua ISD 18+ Adult Transition Services, is a work-based learning project focused on creating and selling personalized balloon grams, balloon centerpieces and Owl spirit grams. Balloon Away + is a self-sustaining business that has shown steady growth. Balloon Away + continues to expand, providing even more opportunities for our students to explore a variety of employment skills.
