Musical Excellence: JHS Bands earn prestigious Sweepstakes Award for 2025-26

Earlier this week, talented Joshua High School musicians showcased their incredible skills at the UIL Concert and Sight-reading Contest! 

JHS sent three bands to the competition, and each one knocked it out of the park, receiving straight 1's in both concert performance and sight-reading! Since JHS secured a 1st division at the UIL March Contest in the fall, they have earned the prestigious Sweepstakes Award for the 2025-26 school year!

This is the second consecutive year that every high school band that participated in the contest achieved a 1st division! A huge shoutout and heartfelt congratulations to all our dedicated band students and directors for their hard work and passion.
