March 2026 School Board Recognitions
At their March 30 regular meeting, the Joshua ISD Board of Trustees recognized many members of the JISD family.
The board recognized the Lady Owls Varsity Basketball team for reaching the Regional Semifinals and finishing the season with the most wins in school history, a mark they have achieved in back-to-back seasons. Those recognized were: Faith Rice, Elexee Ray, Kaitlyn Van Riper, Jazmyne Brown, Hadley Soto, Austyn Miller, Chloe Griswell, Chloe Knippers, MJ Allen, Audrina Garza, Lyndie Freeman, Tye Dillingham, Dillyn Hammons and coaches Rick Dickson, Jana Jones, Dustin Simpson and Mason Williams.

The board recognized team members from the Joshua High School Swim team for their second-place finish at District and the athletes who advanced to Regionals. Those recognized were: Autumn Allen, Alexis D’Antonio, Emma D’Antonio, Olivia Durfey, Avery Farrell, Aubree Moore, Zoe Smith and coach John Grisham.

The board recognized the JHS Tennis teams for their great success this season. Those recognized were: Jeremy Perez, Logan Fielder, Ayden Jalali, Nevaeh Fielder, Thomas Cowan, Chloe Frieze, Kinley, Audrey Simpson, Waylon Pearson, Annie Auvenshine, Mihajlo Brnovic, Timothy Ramirez, Jaymee Bell, Reagan Herren, Kylie Davis, Reagan Gage, Brenner Jones, Wyatt Rigney, Esabella Venegas, Emmalee Gray, Myles Lillo, Kenzie Rotermund, Andrew Gresham and coaches Nicole Fielder and Suzanne Maynard.
