Joshua ISD marks notable improvement in student performance

The Texas Education Agency has officially released the 2024 and 2025 State Accountability Ratings, and Joshua ISD is thrilled with the gains made across the district.

In 2024, JISD earned 30% of the available distinctions, marking a noteworthy achievement for the district. Building on that success, the district reached 58% of the available distinctions in 2025. This significant improvement followed the introduction of a four-day instructional week schedule. Furthermore, nearly all of our campuses not only maintained but elevated their overall grades from 2024 to 2025, reflecting a collective commitment to academic excellence and growth.

In 2024, JISD earned an 82 (B) score, while in 2025, the district improved to an 86 (B) and earned a Postsecondary Readiness distinction.
