JISD students excel at Texas Art Educator's Association Event, earning 32 medals

This past Saturday, students from Joshua ISD showcased their artistic talents at the Texas Art Educator's Association's Visual Arts Scholastic Event, earning an impressive 29 regional and 3 state medals!

Among the standout artists, Audrey Villegas, Karen Palacios and Folu Olajide earned the opportunity to compete at the state level in April in San Marcos.

The commitment and effort displayed by all participants is admirable, as competing at this level not only fosters confidence in their artistic abilities but also encourages them to express their creativity and share their stories with peers. We are proud of our students!
