JISD School Board approves hiring of Executive Director of Special Education

Dr. Tammy Riemenschneider has been named the Joshua ISD Executive Director of Special Education. 

Dr. Riemenschneider returns to JISD after spending a year at ESC Region 11 as the Administrator Coach for Regional Assessment. During this time, she served as the Regional Testing Coordinator, providing technical support to districts with the administration of state assessments and supporting the school improvement team.  

Previously, Dr. Riemenschneider was the JISD Director of District Testing, Dyslexia, 504, and RtI.

She earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Texas Christian University and is also a Licensed Dyslexia Therapist and a Qualified Instructor of Certified Academic Language Therapists.
