JHS UIL Academic team runs away with competition

The Joshua High School UIL Academic team had quite the showing in the large school division at their competition in Grandview on Saturday, February 10!

With five teams taking first and three more earning second place, JHS won the Sweepstakes Award for most overall points with 380. The closest team had 256 points. 

The accounting, computer science, math, number sense and current issues and events teams took first place. 

The calculator applications, journalism and speech and debate teams each placed second.
