JHS softball scores numerous District awards
After another outstanding season, the Joshua High School Lady Owl softball team scored 10 District 8-5A awards and 14 Lady Owls made the academic team!
Leilani Sam earned the distinction of Offensive MVP, Isabella Lambert was named Co-Pitcher of the Year and Taylor Proffitt played her way to Co-Utility Player of the Year!
Zaylee Master and Molly Young were chosen for the First Team, while Baylee Jones and Evelyn Tate took spots on the Second Team and Serenity Vaught and Landrie Durham were named Honorable Mention.
Ali McKillip, Proffitt, Masters, Kinlee Alexander, Lambert, Shyane Strawn, Tate, Vaught, Durham, Jones, Young, Sam, Bella Hernandez and Avery Klein earned District All-Academic.
Head coach Ashley Benson was named the District Co-Coach of the Year!
