JHS senior named 2026 National Merit Scholarship Commended Student

Jacob Pena, a senior at Joshua High School, has earned the title of Commended Student in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program!

This recognition comes after his excellent performance on the 2024 Pre-SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, which is taken by nearly 1.5 million students. Pena scored in the top 50,000 students who took that test.
