JHS NJROTC precision rifle team sets new record
The Joshua Navy JROTC Precision Rifle team has raised the bar once more, firing a new Navy JROTC record of 2340-156x at yesterday's meet in Granbury!
The squad overcame some obstacles to achieve this outstanding feat. Cadet Cooper Dent led the team with a score of 590, despite battling a cold. Team captain Brooklyn Reames shot 588 after adapting due to damaged sights on her rifle. Cadet Nathan Catoe fired a 586, followed by Cadet Riley Woods with a 576.
Our Owl cadets have set the last three Navy JROTC Precision rifle records.
