JHS Computer Science put to the test at State, earns third place
The Joshua High School Computer Science team capped off their incredible season at the 5A UIL Academic State Meet, bringing home the third-place prize!
The team, comprised of Austin Rees, Lincoln Kolhagen, Nolan Girtz and Kyler Martin, racked up a total of 520 points, only 38 behind the first-place team. Individually, Rees earned sixth place.
This is only the second State appearance for the JHS Computer Science team. They qualified in 2024 and finished fourth.
Congratulations to this quartet and Academic UIL Coordinator Colin Yeilding.
