At their December 16 regular meeting, the Joshua ISD Board of Trustees recognized many members of the JISD family.
The Board recognized the Joshua High School Lady Owls Varsity volleyball team for their record-setting 2024 season. With an overall record of 29 wins and 15 losses, and an impressive 12-2 in district play, they secured a second-place finish. The 29 wins make this team the winningest squad in school history. This season marked their second Bi-District Championship Title in six years, defeating Fort Worth Northside, and it was their sixth playoff appearance in seven years.
Additionally, nine players were honored with District 8-5A All-District awards.
