Book vending machine unveiled at Caddo Grove Elementary

The Joshua ISD Education Foundation and Atmos Energy have partnered to provide a book vending machine for Caddo Grove Elementary!

The vending machine has been on campus for some time, and Principal Favi Arevalo and librarian Jennifer Gibson say there has been quite a buzz from the students about it.

It is now full of books and ready to use! Principal Arevalo and Ms. Gibson look forward to seeing students use the machine, strengthen their love of literacy and improve their reading skills. The machine will use specific coins awarded to students who have outstanding attendance. 

Atmos Energy's Fueling Safe and Thriving Communities initiative focuses on education, and the book vending machine is an exciting way to support that mission. Going forward, Atmos will restock the machine with books each year.
