April 2026 School Board Recognitions
At their April 20 regular meeting, the Joshua ISD Board of Trustees recognized many members of the JISD family.
The Board recognized the Joshua ISD Special Olympics Basketball and Track and Field participants and coaches. The Board recognized the JHS students who participated in the Region II Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America Conference where seven students earned spots at the State contest. The students recognized were: Jimena Cruz, Aurora Flores, Amy Gonzalez, Angela Gallegos, Hayde Hernandez, Xitlaly Green and Lupita Razo.
The Board recognized Teacher Incentive Allotment teachers from around the district who earned their first designation or are received a higher designation based on their data from the 2024-2025 school year. Teachers recognized were: Caddo Grove ES: Tanya Bryant, Kathy Jernigan, Dianna Kleeman, Hilda Palomares, Renee Soto Letechipia, Alynda Jones, Carol Turner Klein and Valerie Ruth Short.
