The event recognized our employees’ dedication this school year. During the banquet, employees were treated to dinner courtesy of Roscoe's Barbecue and numerous sponsors. Superintendent Corey Hickerson recognized the JISD Board of Trustees and the Joshua ISD Education Foundation. Mr. Hickerson also announced the 2025 Employee Scholarship recipients.
Education Foundation Executive Director Julie Pool announced this year's grant recipients. Altogether, the Foundation donated a record-high total of $109,056.11.
Mr. Hickerson also recognized our Teachers of the Year, Support Staff of the Year, Service Award recipients and retirees.
Afterward, the auction portion of the event featured 56 gift baskets and raised $11,115. All proceeds will go towards scholarships for seniors.
Thank you to our partners at Roscoe's, Edward Jones Investments, for the trophies that were presented, the JISD Education Foundation and all departments that helped make this event possible.
