2024 JHS grad wins Utah film festival best actress award

Kennedi Boren, a 2024 Joshua High School graduate, was named the Best Actress Under 18 at the 14th Annual Utah International Film Festival for her role in the film Adolescent Plush!

Kennedi's passion for performing and acting began at a young age when she became involved in talent shows. She flourished at JHS, where she took on roles in UIL One Act Play competitions. Recognized for her talent, she received multiple nominations and awards, including Actress of the Year and All-Star Cast accolades. Kennedi has trained extensively with NPT in College Station and David Gray Studios in Los Angeles. She currently attends Texas Tech University and is pursuing a fine arts degree in acting.

Next up for Kennedi is the premier of her movie at the Chandler International Film Festival in Arizona.
