    ¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español!   I will be working with students on developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills needed to communicate in the target language while also exposing them to many cultural aspects of the Spanish world.  I look forward to a productive and exciting year. 

    Class Supply List:

    We will have a classroom set  of textbooks, but if you wish to check out a textbook, you may do so through the library.

    * Three Ring Binder

    * Pencil or blue/black pen

    * Red Pens
    * notebook paper (50-100 sheets)

    OPTIONAL: Spanish/English dictionary (for home), 501 verb conjugation (for home)

    Parents you are welcome to sing up so you can also be inform of the any upcoming events.

       Class Rules and Procedures:

    Respect yourself and others.
    Be in class, on time and ready to learn.
    Bring all materials to class.
    Follow directions the first time given.
    Complete all assignments with honor.




     Grading Procedures:

    50% Minor (Daily Classwork and Homework)
    50% Major (Tests/Quizzes and Projects) 

    When you find * on your child"s missing assignment that does NOT ALWAYS mean they are missing the Assignment it means the teacher has not enter the grade. When you find a 0 that means the student is missing the assignment. Most assignments except for quizzes or test  will be attached on skyward.
