    My mission statement in Joshua ISD is:  to present, model, demonstrate, and assist students in developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills needed to communicate in the target language

    and to:  assist with moral development through character building by challenging students each day to become responsible, resourceful, and respectful learners in a global community

    while:  providing students with different avenues to maximize learning for all students in an environment that promotes academic excellence.



    Class Supply List:  We will have a classroom set of textbooks.  Students may check out a textbook through the library, and keep the textbook at home to use as a resource.  

    Supply list for Spanish 1 and Spanish 2: 

    * Three Ring Binder 1& 1/2 inch or accordian folder  

    * Pencil or blue/black pen

    * notebook paper (50-100 sheets)

    * Red pen
    * 10 

    OPTIONAL: Spanish/English dictionary (for home), 501 verb conjugation (for home)


    Class Rules and Procedures: 

    Respect yourself and others.
    Be in class, on time and ready to learn.
    Bring all materials to class.
    Follow directions the first time given.
    Complete all assignments with honor.

    50% MAJOR - quizzes/exams/projects

    50% MINOR - homework / daily / participation
