Assignment Due May 6 (2 grades)

Please watch the news and list one story you found interesting. Talk to a friend or family member about the story and share your views or opinions about the issue.  List the name of the person you spoke with below. Example (I was interested in a story reported on CBS Evening News that said Joe Biden -if he secures the democratic nomination- will choose a female running mate.  I discussed this story and my thoughts about it with my mom.)

    Assignment Due May 13

List 3 common interview questions you might be asked when interviewing for a job.

    Assignment Due May 13

Assignment: Practicing responses to interview questions

Have a friend or family member ask you three common interview questions (from previous assignment) and practice your responses as if you were participating in an interview. Tell me who you practiced with, one thing you think you did well and one way you might improve if you were to participate in a real interview. (See example)

Example: My mom asked me the three interview questions.  She asked:

Why do you want to work for us?

    Why should I hire you?

What experiences have you had that you think might have prepared you for this position?

I did good at making eye contact while answering.  I need to work on making my responses a little longer and more detailed.

Please contact me with any questions or for assistance with these assignments.
