Joshua ISD provides a comprehensive compensation package for employees that includes: salary, health insurance benefits, workers' compensation insurance, and paid leave. Joshua ISD is committed to providing employees with a comprehensive group health plan. The district has partnered with Texas Schools Health Benefits Program (TSHBP) to provide group health insurance. Administration of the plan benefits is provided by third-party administrator Financial Benefits Services.
All temporary, seasonal, and substitute employees will be enrolled in the 457(b) FICA Alternative Plan when receiving their first paycheck. For further information, please see the FICA Alternative information.
