Screening Calendar

GT Screening Information

JISD screens students two times per year for the gifted and talented program. All nomination packets must be completed and turned in to the campus counselor by the dates listed below to allow adequate planning and processing.  Nomination packets are available through the counselor’s office at each campus. 

Kindergarten screening occurs once a year in December. 
 

Screening Calendar 

October 1-4 (packets due to campus counselor by September 20th )

December 3-6 (Kinder only-packets due to campus counselor by November 19th)

February 18-21 (final screening for the year-packets due to campus counselor by January 17th)
