Club eXcel

Hello JISD Staff and Parents,

Welcome to Club eXcel! The purpose of Club eXcel is to provide a safe nurturing environment for elementary students outside of school hours.  All JISD elementary students are welcome to join.

Club eXcel is a Joshua ISD sponsored program that consists of three parts, Before School Care, the After School Program and Xtreme (Holiday Care & Summer Camps).  Our staff is JISD employees and is subject to the same background checks as your child’s school teacher. 
 
Before School Care is a great affordable service for our families! Students are greeted each morning at 6:00 am when we open the doors. Students are walked to the appropriate area designated by their campus staff at 7:20 am. Friendly familiar faces and surroundings make it easier for students to transition from parent to caregiver. Before School Care is offered at all 5 elementary campuses. We charge $10 weekly.
The After School Program is open from dismissal until 6:30 pm and we follow the JISD calendar.  The After School Program is provided on all 5 elementary campuses. Parents say one of our biggest benefits is that their child does NOT have to be transported on a bus or van after school.  Instead, their child gets to stay at their own school in a familiar environment and with the same caring staff. 

Our afternoon starts with a snack while our staff share announcements and introduce weekly character traits. Students have a much needed recess before participating in BrainWaves which is a quiet place where they may receive help with their homework, read or practice skills. Students then enjoy fun camps from 4 – 6:30 pm.  Some of the camps offered include Basketball, Olympic Challenges, Surfin’ the Web, Kids in the Kitchen, A Minute to Win It, Ooze,Flying Objects, Flag Football, Around the World, Going Green, Helping Hands, Lights-Camera-Action, Super Heroes and many more.  We charge $155 monthly or $45 weekly.  Discounted rates offered to qualifying families of $125 monthly. 

Xtreme is a full day of intense amusement offered on student holidays and during summer break.  Next Xtreme FUN Summer Camps are June 7th - 14 and August 16th - 23rd.  All JISD elementary students are welcome to attend, however, Xtreme is only located at the Staples campus. The excitement begins at 7:30 am and ends at 6:30 pm. Throughout the day students “Get into the Zones” like Go Figure, Sports-Fan-Tastic, Summit Plummet, Innovation Station, A Minute to Win It and the Snack Shack.  We charge $25 daily or $108 for 6 days paid in advance.  Click HERE for our current flier.

Registering is easy and convenient.  Just choose one of the following options:

·      Register and/or pay online by clicking the appropriate tab to the left and following the prompts.  You will need your student’s id number to pay online.  Student id numbers can be requested through your school office.

·      Print the application from the Download Application  tab to the left and return the completed registration form with your payment (check or money order) to your school office.

·      Pick up an application from your school office.
